A full-day International Education Summit was held on May 2, 2006, for approximately 100 key
administrators, educators, parents, business leaders, legislators and other stakeholders to: 1) discuss the importance of international education to Virginia and 2) make recommendations for improving the delivery of critical content and skills related to this topic in Virginia’s public schools.

For the final report of the National Geographic – Roper Public Affairs 2006 Geographic Literacy Study that assessed the geographic knowledge of young American adults between the ages of 18 and 24, CLICK HERE.
