History and social science, by their nature, are part of the core of Global Learning.  While some history courses are focused on state or national content, the connections to global themes are pervasive.  All states or countries participate in the trade of goods and ideas across borders.  Economic and geographic skills and concepts are universal in nature and World History is, of course, international.  The following pages explore some of the global connections for history and the social sciences.
